Audiovisual artist crew formed in 2003, SoSo Limited is an entourage of geeks at MIT. Their projects are somewhere between design, art and international technologies.
They use dynamic typography, video manipulation, computer vision, sensor technologies and sound design to create interactive installations applications and live performances. SoSo Limited have corporations giants among their clients, still they manage to perform and exhibit artwork at Ars Electronica and Transmediale.
In one of their latest projects, SoSo Limited turn a standard television program, described by them as ‘garbage’, into interesting material (which they modestly call ‘gold’). Different algorithms are used to create live remixes of broadcast - it sounds abstracts, so please see the video below. They presented similar remix of the debate between Obama and McCain in front of a 1500 audience.
