Slobodan Marković, expert adviser to the Secretary for Digital Agenda at Serbian Ministry of Culture, Media and Information Society.
Form September 2008 to March 20011 he was special advisor to Ministry of Telecommunications and Information Society. He took part in developing telecommunication and information society laws (with emphasis on the Law on Electronic Communication, strategies and action plans for development of telecommunication, information society, e-administration) and e-business. Prior to his appointment in the ministry, he founded (2001) and managed the Center for Internet Development, leading local non-governmental organization in the field of telecommunication policy and information society. He was one of the reformers of the Register of National Internet Domain Names of Serbia (2001), founder (2006) and member of the Board of Directors of RNIDS (2006-2009). Member of the Board of Directors of international Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers - ICANN (2005-2008).
