Creativity – vice or virtue?
Driven by the attitude that most people treat creativity simplified and sees it as something positive and something from which the individual, culture and the society may benefit from, Pero wrote a paper about creativity and about perception of it in modern western society, trying to show that creativity should be given a more important role.
He has two ideological visions about creativity - progressive, humanist and democratic on one side and economical, driven by market policies on the other.
Although seemingly paradoxical, this visions share a big proportion of the same rhetorics, but, in his work, the author tries to strip off some of the confusing layers which disguise these positions and tries to show that creativity changes its traditionally humanistic and cultural role and becomes the servant of economical doctrine.
