Ljudmila

Ludmila (Ljubljana Digital Media Lab) has been operating since 1994. It is based on open source and open access principles. It connects technology and media art projects, and also encourages a wider and more creative use of new technologies.

It is focused on the arts and education, and the research and development of open hardware and software.
Ludmila is a member of the international Creative Commons network. During the last two years, Ludmila has been working on Culture.si online platform for international cultural cooperation (which is established and funded by the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport). The platform is based on MediaWiki semantics, and its content has a license CC.
She has also produced a short film C-Man, Copyright defender: The Hand of Justice Strikes Again that humorously deals with anomalies of the current copyright system.
The film was premiered at the global summit Creative Commons in Warsaw in September 2011.
