This is the second time Desire Željka Milošević is participating at Share Conference. Internet public policy and making sure that the Internet stays open and accessible to all users around the world; exploring new models of intellectual property; digital rights and online education are just some of the interests of this lady.
She is currently a Visiting research associate at Oxford Internet Institute and Senior International Affairs and Policy Adviser at Afilias. In 2006 -2009 she worked as a Special Adviser to the UN Chair of the Internet Governance FORUM Multi-stakeholder Advisory Group. (MAG) She served as a board member of Computer Professionals for Social Responsibility and the Internet Society, ISOC (2004-2010).
She is a graduate of the faculty of Foreign Languages of the University of Belgrade, where she studied English Literature.
Hacklab Belgrade
Hacklab Belgrade is an open creative space for the admirers of both computers and technology in general, and the combination of technology and art, as well. Everybody can bring their project here, be it code writing, robot-barman construction, or electronic jewelry designing. This space functions as the knot of new ideas and projects, where the members gather and organize actions varying from the soldering of electronics, to robotics, teaching of the code writing for Drupal and Java, and other workshops that include soldering, knitting, and the lessons of cooking.
